Our Rotary club has agreed to use our district grant funds to purchase four benches for the Thomaston downtown district. The benches are part of a larger effort to improve the overall look and appeal of the area for our guests and residents. The new benches will be engraved with "Donated by the Rotary Club of Thomaston". Our club will work together with town maintenance and serval high school students to install. If you have a desire to purchase a bench in addition, please contact Sue Holway. Orders are due by June 20th.
Through Rotary, police officer Joanne Serkeyn expanded her view of how to make a difference. In July, Serkeyn will become the governor of District 7090
