The Rotary Club of Thomaston will once again, recognize a local Distinguished Citizen in April, with a banquet held in honor of the recipient.

Rotary's mottos are "Service above Self' and "One Profits Most Who Serves Best", stated Roger Perreault, Chairman of the Selection Committee. "This is what we are looking for in our next Distinguished Citizen", said Perreault. "It will be someone who has demonstrated in their life, Rotary's mottos. The nominees should be individuals who have exemplified themselves in the past by having given freely and unselfishly of their time in order to benefit others and the community."

Written nominations can be mailed to Roger Perreault, Rotary Club of Thomaston, P. 0 . Box 87, Thomaston, CT 06787, or emailed to Perreault at ThomastonRotary@gmail.com. Last year's recipient was Kristin Mosimann. This will be the Club's thirty-fifth year in which a deserving citizen will be recognized.
